The first person to be crowned an FIA World Champion in two different motorsport disciplines, Petter Solberg followed up his 2003 World Rally Championship success by winning the FIA World Rallycross Championship for two consecutive seasons in 2014 and 2015. Having begun his motorsport career with rallycross outings in his native Norway, Solberg – known as ‘Hollywood’ to his many fans for his crowd-pleasing antics – made his World Rally Championship debut in 1998 before a switch to Subaru for 2000 preceded his first win, on the 2002 Rally GB.
